Celebrate Administrative Professionals Week with These Amazing Gifts

Secretaries, executive assistants, administrative staff—these are probably the hardest working professionals in your office today. Show your appreciation by celebrating this year’s Administrative Professionals Week with our pick of amazing gifts!

7 Gift Ideas for your Administrative Assistants

Flower arrangements

Everyone loves receiving a beautiful bouquet, especially the ones from Fiesta Flowers. Flowers symbolize love, appreciation, and friendship, so if you want to put a smile on someone’s face, there’s no other way to do it but with a bunch of flowers. Since flower arrangements are popular gifts, don’t forget to order them at least a week before Administrative Professionals Week.

Personalized Pens

Personalized pens as an appreciation gift may seem a little bit out of fashion, but you have to admit it’s still one of the most useful gifts you can give. Pens will never go out of style because they’re something we all use in our daily lives.

Stylish journals

What do you give someone whose job is to make your life a bit easier? How about a stylish journal that they can use to keep track of their own thoughts and record their life memories? Journals come in different sizes and colours, so try to choose designs that your administrative staff will not be ashamed to be seen with.

Fashionable totes

A wise woman once said, “You can never have too many tote bags.” Why? Because not only do they make useful gifts, but they’re also better for the environment. Using tote bags instead of single-use plastic is such a #BossMove because it shows you’re not ashamed to do your part in saving the world. Just remember to choose simple, minimalist designs that will suit both the men and the women on your team.

Aromatherapy bath bombs and soaps

Aromatherapy has plenty of benefits that members of your staff will absolutely love. Not only is it effective in improving their emotional wellbeing, but it can also enhance their physical health. While getting into aromatherapy can seem intimidating in the beginning, you can start off the newbies with a couple of bath bombs and soaps they can try out at home.

Scented candles

Scented candles make amazing gifts, especially if you choose scents that will help your admin staff relax after a long day at the office. To avoid giving your staff the impression that you’re giving a generic gift, make sure to choose a specific scent for each person. What’s our recommendation? Popular flower (Lavender, Rose, Jasmine) scents of course!

Inspirational books

Nothing beats the gift of knowledge. If you want to give the gift that keeps on giving, inspirational books are the way to go. Show your staff that you care about their wellbeing and growth by giving them books that will inspire them to pursue their dreams.

Once the week is over, try to show your gratitude to your administrative assistants all year round. After all, there’s a lot you can do to boost employee morale in your organization. When your staff feels appreciated and loved, they’re more likely to go above and beyond to make sure everything at work is in order. Schedule your flower deliveries with Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts today!

5 Ways to Celebrate Earth Day

In the long course of the earth’s history, people have managed to create a holiday for just about anything worth celebrating. From religious celebrations, like Christmas and Kwanzaa, to federal holidays, like Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Independence Day, our annual calendars are filled with special dates. So, it’s just appropriate that we give Earth its own special day every year.

Earth Day is basically an environmental movement that started in the 1970s. Each year, over 5000 environmental groups all over the world organize events and activities to remind people of their impact on the earth. Their goal is to make everyone more aware of their carbon footprint and inspire them to get involved in different “Save the Earth” initiatives.

We at Fiesta Flowers believe it’s our collective responsibility to support this environmental movement. After all, we owe it to the next generation to make this world a better place to live in.

Aside from unplugging the TV and conserving electricity, there are more meaningful ways to celebrate Earth Day. Here are 5 ways to make this year’s Earth Day celebration meaningful for you and your loved ones.

Go on a hike with friends

The best way to start off Earth Day is to head to the mountains before the sunrise. You and your friends will be amazed by the beautiful play of colors as the sun rises over the horizon. Going on a hike is also one of the best ways to burn off energy and stress from a hectic week. Who knows? After this hike, you might like it so much that you’ll want to do it again next weekend.

Plant a tree

Every year, we lose millions of trees to loggers, both legally and illegally. Make Earth Day count by organizing a tree-planting activity with your friends and colleagues. Trees are our lifeline to healthier living. Planting trees is the only way we can offset the harmful effects of fossil fuel processing. And the best part about tree planting is that it’s not just a one-off thing. You’ll enjoy fresh clean air for many years to come.

Fix your garden

Whether you’re working on a vegetable patch or a flower bed, today is a great day to work on your garden. Not only are you doing your part to minimize the effects of carbon emissions, but it gives you the chance to grow something you can be proud of. Plus, there have been studies that show how gardening doesn’t just make you healthier; it also makes you happier.

Upcycle old clothes to make reusable grocery bags

We all have clothes in our closets that we’ll never get around to wearing, so instead of throwing them away, you can turn them into reusable tote bags. After all, no one can have too many reusable grocery bags.

Go vegetarian for a day

Make a conscious effort today to eat only vegetables. It’s no secret that the meat industry is causing a huge strain on the environment. Even if you’re not really keen on switching to a vegetarian diet, there’s no harm in trying it for a day.

We at Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts support everything that Earth Day stands for. By being more mindful of the environment, together we can make a difference.

The Perfect Flowers and Gifts for Earth Day

Earth Day celebration was established in 1970 as part of a modern environmental movement. It is observed by people across the globe every April 22. Each year, the Earth Day Network connects a theme to the celebration to raise awareness on various environmental issues. For 2019, the theme is related to the preservation of animal species.

Earth Day is a time to celebrate the beauty of Mother Nature. It is a time to rethink our old wasteful ways and to change our habits to more Earth-friendly ones. What better way to celebrate Earth Day with family and friends than by giving natural gifts that won’t harm our planet?

We at Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts believe that flowers are special gifts you can give to your loved ones to remind them of Earth Day. Flowers are living, natural testimonies to the beauty of our planet. They are a tangible reminder for us to protect our environment. Here are some flower and gift ideas for you and your loved ones this Earth Day 2019.

Nothing spells cheerfulness better than Sunflowers! Send your loved ones a lively Sunflower basket for Earth Day to hype up their desire to save Mother Nature.

Apart from two large Sunflowers, this flower arrangement also contains small Carnations, Pom Mums, blue Delphinium, and Daisies. They are all artfully arranged in a cute woven basket accentuated with a large blue bow.

A collection of Snapdragons, yellow Roses, purple Stock, white Daisies, and orange Asiatic Lilies make up this vibrant floral bouquet. They come in a tall cylindrical vase accented with a satin ribbon.

Let Your Kids Cuddle a Stuffed Animal or Two

Why not make your little ones environmentally-aware at a young age? Let them participate in the Earth Day festivities with an adorable stuffed animal in tow. It’s the perfect gift for youngsters, keeping in line with the theme of protecting animal species.

Pick an Animal-Inspired Pop-Up Greeting Card

Make your loved ones aware of Earth Day 2019’s animal species protection theme by sending them an animal-inspired greeting card. These pop-up cards feature laser-cut designs on their front covers and reveal intricately-made pop-ups of hummingbirds, dragonflies, and butterflies when opened. They’re unique gifts that will get your loved ones thinking of ways to preserve insects and birds this Earth Day and beyond.

Try This Easy Centerpiece Idea with Pink Flowers

Roses and Peonies are timeless blooms that bring elegance to any special occasion. What else can you do to create that perfect centerpiece for your wedding reception? Here at Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts, we like combining florals of different shades and shapes to create one-of-a-kind centerpieces that you and your guests will absolutely love.

Pink flowers make the perfect choice for wedding flowers, as they symbolize innocence, playfulness, and femininity. The darker shades of pink symbolize a budding relationship, since it’s not as intense as the deep reds that are traditionally associated with love and romance. Plus, not many people use pink as the main color for a wedding centerpiece.

For this centerpiece, we’ll be using a combination of fresh flowers and lush leaves that will be perfect for an indoor or outdoor wedding reception.

What you’ll need:

Pink English Roses: Those in the flower industry love using English Roses because they come in a wide array of colors. Also referred to as David Austin Roses, English Roses give off a subtle fragrance that isn’t overpowering or distracting. English Roses are known for their many petals in a cupped shape.

White Hydrangeas: Hydrangeas make great statement flowers because their blooms grow in round clusters, giving any centerpiece or bouquet volume. They bloom in the summer and come in subtle shades of pink, white, blue, and purple. For this centerpiece, we’re using white Hydrangeas to complement the pink English Roses.

Snow on the Mountain: These lush leaves with white markings add a unique touch to this feminine centerpiece. They make great fillers for any centerpiece.

Curly Willow: Corkscrew Willow branches, which are available all year-round, will give this centerpiece some needed height. It also adds a rustic feel to the flower arrangement.

Wooden box: You can use any container for this centerpiece but if you want to bring your flowers to life, we suggest that you use a low wooden box to complement the Curly Willow branches.

Optional: Use Rose-scented tealights in glass votives for that sweet smell of Roses on your special day. Let people know that romance is definitely in the air.

How to make your centerpiece last?

No one wants their beautiful creation to go to waste. The good news is you can extend the life of your centerpiece by following a few tips.

  1. You should only use flowers sourced from a reliable florist like Fiesta Flowers. We only use the freshest florals and give them the finest care before they get delivered to our customers.
  2. Add water and flower food into a new container before rearranging your flowers. Just remember not to drown them. Recut your flowers to make sure they draw in as much water as they possibly can.
  3. Rinse out your container before adding fresh water to your blooms every 2 days. This prevents bacteria, which kills the flowers, from growing.
  4. Recut the stems every 2 days to reopen them. Doing this consistently ensures maximum hydration for your flowers.
  5. Avoid keeping your flowers in spaces with direct sunlight, draft, heat, and fruits. The ethylene gas that ripening fruits release will ripen your fresh flower arrangement and cause it to wilt.

What Your Favorite Flower Says about Your Personality

When it comes to choosing flowers for a bouquet or centerpiece, we all have our favorites. Some people love the classics like Roses, Carnations, and Daisies, while others prefer the exotic types like Orchids. You may not be aware of it, but the flowers you’re drawn to the most say a lot about the kind of person you are.

So, which of Mother Nature’s floral creations speak to you the most? Here’s what your choice of florals say about your personality, according to our experts at Fiesta Flowers.

Rose:

If you’re always stopping to “smell the Roses,” then you’re what we like to call an old soul. You love learning about the world around you and enjoy traveling abroad. Your idea of the perfect date is a night out at the opera or a ballet. Your personality is the type that never goes out of style.

Carnation:

If your favorite bloom is the Carnation, then you’re the type of person who prefers to stay out of the spotlight. You’re pretty much low-key and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. You have a gift for learning new languages or playing unique instruments. You may like quieter pursuits, but that makes you anything but boring.

Daisy:

If you love Daisies, then you’re generally an optimist. You like spending time outdoors just to walk around and enjoy nature. You’re joyful with a child-like quality that people just love about you. Your friends and family gravitate towards you because you always know what to say to make them feel better.

Tulip:

If you’re into Tulips, then you are a confident, thoughtful person who likes to be around people. You’re independent and enjoy getting to know yourself more than any other person on the planet. You have a sweet and generous disposition, which helps you quickly connect with others

Lilac:

If you’re a Lilac lover, then you’re a romantic at heart. You like walking down memory lane and look to the past with much nostalgia. You have a penchant for antique finds and spend your weekends looking for treasures at your local thrift store.

Orchid:

Those who choose the Orchid as their favorite flower are mysterious, to say the least. Like the exotic bloom that you favor, you are bold and sexy and make classy, sophisticated choices. You choose to hang out with only a small group of trusted friends because you don’t feel the need to go out there and mingle.

Daffodil:

If you like Daffodils, then you’re an artistic person who strives for excellence in everything you do. You have old-fashioned values and have a high regard for your family and friends. You love hosting dinners at home and can put on quite a memorable party.

Lily:

If you love Lilies, then you are the type of person with refined taste. You're always put together because you believe that style is a way of life, not just a fashion statement. It’s quite easy for you to stand out in a crowd. You’re well-loved for your kind heart and independence. You’re also well respected among your peers.

No matter what your favorite flower is, let Fiesta Flowers Plants and Gifts be your #1 flower supplier in the Arizona area.

What Flowers to Give on Easter?

Are you giving gifts this Easter holiday to the people you care about? A lovely bouquet or basket of the freshest spring flowers would certainly put a smile on their faces. But, you wouldn’t want to give something that would be lost in translation.

Every flower and its color have different meanings. You may want to give them because they look pretty. However, thinking about the symbolism behind these flowers wouldn’t hurt.

To help you decide, here’s a Fiesta Flowers guide on what flowers to give to whom on Easter.

Flower language

For the significant other

No doubt that your partner will appreciate anything you give him/her. But, nothing says “I love you” better than a nice bouquet of Tulips.

They come in nearly every hue of the rainbow. You can pick out her favorite color, but white and pink tulips would make your feelings standout more.

For parents

A traditional Easter blossom like the Lily can bring a peaceful and uplifting mood to any home. This makes it a great gift for any parent on Easter.

Lilies represent love, hope, and purity. White Lilies (aka Easter Lilies) are symbolic for Christian Easter celebrations. If your parents are Christians, you may want to consider giving them these white beauties.

Giving Carnations is also an option, especially for mothers. These flowers are popular gifts during Mother’s Day. But, there’s no rule that says you can’t show appreciation to your mother during Easter.

For friends

Choosing flowers for your friends would depend on their personality and your relationship with them. If you’re “besties” for life, Daffodils would be wonderful to give. They can symbolize true love and friendship.

If your friend has been through a lot of hardships, a nice arrangement of Daisies would be lovely. Daisies express new beginnings and high energy. Wishing them to start anew from their struggles with some Daisies would uplift their spirits.

Have you had a big fight with a friend and want to apologize? Do it with a basket of purple Hyacinths. Just try to avoid giving yellow Hyacinths because they symbolize jealousy. This might worsen the tension between you and your friend.

For siblings and children

There are various flowers you can give to your siblings and children. It depends on what you want to tell them. You can give them Tulips to show your love or a whole lot of Daffodils to show your respect.

You may want to get your hands on some Azalea. When given during Easter, these flowers mean that you want the recipients to keep themselves safe.

You don’t have to stick to one kind of flower when giving out gifts on Easter. An arrangement of various kinds and colors of flowers would make a wonderful gift. You can mix and match different types and colors of flowers if you want to say a lot of things to your recipient.

Arranging and matching flowers isn’t an easy task. If you’re clueless as to how it’s done, you can get a ready-made arrangement from Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts. You can browse through many beautiful arrangements and have them delivered directly to your loved one’s home.

Easter Flowers That Are Perfect for Your Sunday Table

Whether you’re celebrating Easter as a religious holiday or not, you have to admit that Easter flowers add joy to the holiday.

Since Easter is well-timed in spring, you’ll have a lot of wonderful choices. Spring is abundant in flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Choosing the best ones for your needs all depends on you.

You should think about the decorations, if you’re hosting an Easter Sunday party. Consider a great floral centerpiece for your Easter lunch or dinner table from a reputable flower shop like Fiesta Flowers. This will complete the atmosphere for your party.

Here are some of the popular flower choices during Easter that will surely fill your party with the Easter vibe.

Easter Lilies

These white Lilies have a religious symbolism during Easter. They are known as a symbol of hope, purity, and Christ’s resurrection. Using Easter Lilies as a centerpiece adds a refreshing mood to the table.

Tulips

Tulips are another symbolic flower for Christians. White Tulips mean absolution, while the purple ones mean royalty. Both of these are vital aspects of Easter for Christians. Still, all Tulips mean love, passion, and belief.

These flowers are one of the best ornament choices for Easter. They come in almost every color you can think of. It’ll be easy to match a Tulip arrangement with the color scheme of the event.

Daffodils

If you want to brighten any Easter celebration, Daffodils are great options. Their sunny hue can add warmth to the occasion. Also, they represent friendship and true love.

Daisies

Another cheerful blossom to consider is the Daisy. Daisies are available in various colors like pink, yellow, red, and purple. But, you may want to use white Daisies since they symbolize calmness and purity. They also smell nice. That gives you another reason to add them to your centerpiece.

Hyacinths

Hyacinths in cool colors like deep indigo or light purple are popular picks for Easter. They also come in other colors like red, pink, and white.

If you’re feeling apologetic and want to start fresh this Easter, purple hyacinths might satisfy your emotions. The purple ones mean remorse. But for most people, this flower reminds them of the warm weather and sunshine.

Single-petal Roses

You might think Roses are only a thing during Valentine’s Day, but single-petal Roses are perfect for any Easter celebration.

These old-fashioned Roses only have 4-8 petals in a single row, unlike the semi-doubled ones that have 9-16 petals. They give a sense of elegance and simplicity to the occasion.

They’re also symbolic for Christians. Five-petal Roses represent the Five Holy Wounds. Red roses symbolize Christ’s blood and the white ones represent his innocence and purity.

You can choose any kind of flower available in spring for your Easter celebration. But, arranging them yourself could take a lot of time and effort.

To save yourself from the trouble, you can get prearranged flowers from Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts. You can also be sure you’ll get premium quality flowers to complete your Easter gathering.

Things Florists Should Sell in 2019

Flower shops usually sell flowers only, but nowadays, there is a demand for more products such as greeting cards, chocolates and stuffed toys and balloons to be sold together in flower shops since they usually go together. It will save customers more time if they buy these things together compared to buying separately, especially since some items match so well with flowers.

Flower Arrangement

Greeting cards

These are very important, and it is a must to include a card when sending bouquets of flowers to a person. Flowers are not complete without greeting cards. Simple and minimalistic greeting cards are the best. It is best to put the greeting cards near the checkout counter to encourage the customers to buy one.

Home décor

It is a good idea for florists to offer home décor because a lot of people spend time and money on it. Flowers in themselves already make wonderful décor but of course, other people might want to complement the blooms with other ornaments.

It will be more efficient if flower shops sell home décor along with flowers so they can save time. Florists will probably sell home décor at a cheaper price compared to malls. A few examples can be blankets, ceramics, pillows, candles and even faux flowers. Customers can save time and money by buying a few pieces of home décor in a flower shop.

A Guide to Flowers in Art

Flowers are used as decoration, both for interior and exterior. Flowers brighten up the mood, make the ambience better and liven up the empty space in an office, living room or anywhere else.

Flowers are also heavily used in art, and they may even have a religious meaning. The usage of flowers in art may depend on the artist. Flowers can be used as a muse or a source of inspiration for artists. The meaning of the flower depends on how the artist would like to portray it.

There are many famous artists in different time periods who used flowers in their paintings. Whether it was the Renaissance or Baroque period, there are many paintings that use flowers as an inspiration or the subject itself of the paintings or artworks.

Van Gogh’s Sunflower Series

Vincent Van Gogh in particular often used flowers in his paintings. Some examples are Sunflowers and Irises. Vincent Van Gogh has a series of paintings called “Sunflowers,” which is remarkable in that it showed the duality of his nature. It is known that he was a tortured man on account of mental illness but he managed to paint the flowers in brilliant colors.

Ikebana

Flowers are used in many different types of art. Ikebana is a Japanese art of flower arrangement. Ikebana comes from the words ike meaning keep alive and hana meaning flower.

Art and Emotions

Flowers have their own meanings, which is why certain flowers evoke certain emotions – which is what art does too. Different colored flowers have different meanings. For example, White Roses and Red Roses have different meanings. White Roses symbolize purity and innocence while Red Roses symbolize love.

The Lotus Flower is significant to Ancient Egyptians. It represents creation and rebirth. It also has different meanings in Buddhism and Hinduism. Aside from art, the Lotus Flower has many other uses.

In the Middle Ages

During the Middle Ages, floral designs were used. In many pieces, the subject often had floral patterns in the background. Flowers were also used in religious ceremonies, which is why flowers are heavily seen in religious art during the era.

During the Renaissance

Artists often incorporated floral designs in their paintings during the Renaissance period. One work of Botticelli called Primavera shows the spring goddess sprinkling flowers on the floor.

In Still Life

There are many paintings that incorporate flowers, especially still life. Still life paintings or artwork usually contain inanimate objects like food, rocks, flowers, etc.

The Impressionist Period

French painters during the Impressionist period used floral themes in several ways. During this period, flowers set the theme and the backdrop for these paintings.

Post Impressionism

Paintings during the Post-Impressionism period were set from indoor, just like “Sunflowers” to outdoor (Irises) themes, which are both works of Vincent Van Gogh.

In Fauvism

Fauvism has emphasis on color, so the flowers depicted in these paintings were very vibrant. Color is given more value compared to line.

Flowers in the Pop Art movement

A popular example of this is Campbell’s Soup Can by Andy Warhol. Artists during this period used bold elements.

Flowers are also used in making big outdoor sculptures or floats or ephemeral art. There are many art pieces that consist only of flowers. People also make pressed flowers by inserting flowers in between the pages of a book. Flowers can be also used in greeting cards.

Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts has a wide range of flowers and greeting cards great for various occasions. If you need inspiration for your art or if you need one made for you, you can get them to make you a beautiful floral arrangement.

Ideas for Special Gifts to Surprise Your Parents on Their Anniversary

Anniversaries are special occasions for couples. Relationships take a lot of work, and it is never easy. Therefore, every year that a couple stays together needs to be celebrated. As a loving family member, you feel this and feel that your parents deserve the best on their anniversary. The best gift you can give them is something close to their heart, so here are some special gifts to surprise your parents on their anniversary.

Customized wine glasses

Do your parents love wine? Wine is one of the world’s most consumed beverages due to its flavor and health benefits. Wine contains antioxidants that help fight free radicals, helping improve a person’s overall health. Furthermore, wine has compounds that help boost the immune system, which is why it is recommended that a person drinks at least one glass of wine every day. If your parents love wine, they will definitely appreciate a personalized wine glass set. A lot of shops, including Fiesta Flowers, may offer wine glass sets where you can get your parents’ names printed.

Flowers from their wedding

If you want your gift to have a true sentimental value, consider giving your parents a bouquet of the same flowers they had on their wedding day. Try looking through family photographs and take note of which flowers were in your parents’ wedding bouquet. Florists at Fiesta Flowers Plants & Gifts would be able to help you create the same exact bouquet based on the photos you may have. To make the surprise even more sentimental, you can add more flowers that have become sentimental to your parents over the years.

Flowers with bulbs

You can also opt to give your parents flowers that will continuously give them joy for a very long time. Traditional special gifts to surprise your parents on their anniversary can also be flowers that have bulbs, which would continue to grow indefinitely. Some of these flowers include Irises, Tulips, and Daffodils. When choosing the colors of the flowers you’ll gift to your parents, take the advice in the previous point and look through old photographs, checking to see which colors have a sentimental value to your parents.

Flowers with vines

Another example of special gifts to surprise your parents on their anniversary can be flowers with vines. If your parents’ home has a trellis, you can give your parents flowers that grow vines, which they can then plant to crawl up their trellis. Some examples of really beautiful flowers that have vines include Sweet Pea, Morning Glory, and Clematis. Morning Glories are traditionally given for the eleventh wedding anniversary, while Sweet Peas are given for the thirtieth anniversary.

A candle-lit dinner

One of the most special gifts to surprise your parents on their anniversary can be an experience they can both enjoy. Your parents have experienced a lot of ups and downs. They have been through so much, and at this point in their lives, what they deserve is a whole day where they can reconnect, away from chores and responsibilities. You can arrange for a dinner for the two of them someplace, or you can do it at home, decorating a spot in your home with candlelight and flowers.

Studies Support Fact: Flowers Are a Mood Booster

Flowers are more than just mere home decorations. They are a way to make people happy. They give people joy during special occasions and can cheer anyone up whenever they feel sad. This brings us to the question of how strong the effect of flowers is on us humans. Do they really help with our mental health? Here are a few facts that will show you that fact: flowers are a mood booster.

Flowers help alleviate stress.

With many people spending more and more hours at work, stress and anxiety are becoming an almost natural part of everyday life. A recent study concluded that as much as 10% of the current world population lives with stress on a daily basis. At this point, it helps to remind ourselves of one fact: flowers are a mood-booster. A study has found that placing flowers beside your work space or having them in certain parts of your home can help alleviate stress levels.

Flowers help with memory.

A 2015 study has found that flowers also help in sharpening your ability to recall past experiences, which translates to flowers being of great help to your memory. Specifically, the smell of Rosemary has proven to be of great help in allowing people to recall things they need to remember.

Flowers can help you control your emotions.

We normally associate our emotions with colors. Yellow can mean happiness, red can mean love or anger, and blue can mean calm. The color green has always been closely linked to a sense of safety, which is why having lots of greens in your environment has been shown to improve focus and overall mood. When choosing flowers for your home, consider the colors you want present in your residence. Your color choice should reflect the type of mood you want to have in your home.

Flowers help with brain performance.

Multiple studies have shown that flowers can help with brain performance. The colors of flowers offer visual stimulation, which helps the brain feel more active and thus makes you feel more productive. Recent research has even shown that putting flowers in lecture halls and classrooms helps increase student attendance and even goes as far as to help increase focus. This all boils down to our association of color with mood. Flower colors stimulate certain moods in the workplace. For instance, red flowers can help with concentration, while blue flowers can help with encouraging free thinking and creativity.

Flowers help relax you for sleep.

Here is another idea that supports the fact: flowers are a mood booster. Sleeping 8 hours every night is very important, and when it comes to sleep, Lavenders help in lowering the heart rate and helping people relax. The more relaxed you are, the easier it is for you to fall asleep. Keep in mind, however, that Lavender alone can’t completely cure insomnia. However, getting Lavender for your bedroom can certainly help relax you and pave the way to helping you sleep.

Flowers can help anyone feel better when they are having a rough day. It is a scientifically accepted fact that flowers have a positive impact on our mood and can even help in achieving our basic needs such as sleep. If you think you’re in need of cheering up, don’t hesitate to visit Fiesta Flowers.

A Tulip stands out for its tapered head and vibrant petals. A bouquet of tulips is the easiest to prepare. Just cut the roots and tie the blooms together using a ribbon. Despite its simplicity, this type of bouquet always looks elegant.

Sweet Pea

Sweet Peas are often used as accents to big blooms. With their shades of blue, purple, pink and red, these can also be arranged together to form an eye-catching bouquet.

Lily of the Valley

Lily of the Valley is among the priciest blooms you may consider for a wedding bouquet or decoration. After all, it’s one of the hardest to cultivate and collect. Despite its price, a set of this tiny, fragrant flower creates a simple yet chic bouquet that doesn’t steal the spotlight from the holder.

Calla Lily

When it comes to creating patterns using flowers, the Calla Lily is the perfect choice. You can make the pattern more exciting by featuring Calla Lilies of different colors. Aside from the classic white, why not give red, green, orange or purple a try?

Ranunculus

Ranunculus represents being charmed, and rightfully so. It comes in fascinating shades of pink, yellow, white, and orange. Plus, it radiates a mild scent. Over the years, Ranunculus has a reputation for being an affordable alternative to Peonies. However, this doesn’t mean it’s any less mesmerizing with its ruffled blooms.

Freesia

For the fun-loving bride, a colorful set of Freesia is a delight to hold while on their way to the altar. This bloom also complements a bouquet or centerpiece filled with Roses and Ranunculi. Two of the most noteworthy characteristics about Freesia are the intoxicating fragrance and the fact that its blossom tends to last longer than other flowers.

Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemums, or simply known as Mums, are the perfect fit for brides who want to break the norm. It can be designed in a bouquet or centerpiece with numerous other flowers. A set of white flowers with a handful of colored mums will surely be a head-turner during a wedding.

Hydrangea

This big bloom completes the list of favorite spring wedding flowers. Aside from a statement bouquet, hydrangeas are ideal flowers for centerpieces and aisle decorations.
